Luckily I got a region free player. And Japan is the same region as Europe though they use NTSC instead of PAL, but I can play region 1 NTSC on it so shouldn't be a problem.

This is why I am glad I now have an unofficial copy. I can watch it as much as I wish and not feel ansty about the fact that I won't get it until Febuary (or so the website for the shop my order is with says for the moment).
