Okay, not quite. What I have is an 'intention to hire' which essentially means once the board clears me, which is mostly a formality, I will have a contract in my hot little hands come July 17th and can sign it then. In the meantime I have things like benifits meetings to go to.

*bounces limply* I'm exhausted, but very happy.

Also, school mascot? A Buccaneer Raider. I'M A PIRATE, BABY!

Near falling over in shock....

I haven't gotten my praxis scores back yet (if you don't know/don't remember that was a test I took back in June that covered math content. You have to have a certain score to teach in certain states) but I don't think I'll have to take it again.

See, I just got an envelope. An envelope from ETS. And envelope that tells me I've scored in the top 15% from previous praxis result years in the math content test.
