My methods teacher reduced the amount of HW we had cause we didn't get through everything we need to. She planned to much.

And in other good news: I got a hundred on my methods midterm!!!!

Today in class we were doing review, and this is what one student said:

私が食べたものは子どもです。子どもはやわらかかったです。　「Hope I didn't screw that up. ^^;;;]

Um, yeah. The entire class yelled at him.

Also in Japanese today, we got our new assignment.


1. Choose your "favorite treasure" or anything which you would like to show to the class and write about it using 10-15 sentences. Write why you like it and how you got it, etc.

2. After your draft is checked by the instructor, practice reading your manuscript aloud until you read it smoothly.

3. Prepare for the class presentation. You may wish to prepare notes. If your "treasure" is a living thing, you can prepare a big and clear picture (or picture) of it to take in its place.

4. Practice in front of the mirror, standing and holding your treasure. Just imagine you are standing in front of the class. If your treasure can be played with, demonstrate it while you are speaking. Don't forget to take your treasure to the class.

5. Let your audience ask questions in Japanese about your treasure after the presentation.



We couldn't get through point four. It took us several minutes to stop laughing. Play with your treasure. In front of the class. Suuuuure. XD;;

On a more random note: FFVII is really annoying sometimes. The whole lack of concrete dates and half the people's names? Very irksome.

However, kiraya and I have handled it mostly. We've just got to assign some more birthdays. ^_^

Things I need to do this weekend:
*Write up Interview Report
*Study Japanese for test on Monday
*Write up draft of composition for Japanese, due Thursday.
*Work on Abstract, of course. XD;; I don't THINK we have any study sessions yet.

....I've got Regression Monday. Drat. I'll get my test back AND I have to have that bloody class. I don't want to go. *sulks*

It's a pretty intensive course ^^; We learned 'tai' form last week. We're learning 'te' form this week (I hates it and I hates dictionary form!).

We're gonna' cover just about everything covered in the A-level (college) course before Christmas -_-

Different きょうかしょ, different systems. The ~たい thing is actually in like chapter 2 of the For Dummies book (which is how I knew >..>).

...actually, looking at it now, there should be a　が or は. The meaning is still clear, though.

Requests are closed at the place that did my layout at the moment, but I bet you could make one like that. And even though its S1 code, the tags ARE still working. :)

If we could photoshop the picture appropriately, we might even be able to take the code for THIS layout and change it into one for you. I'd have to ask if we could do that...

We had to learnt to read kana because they teach in it right from the start. It gets easier if you have to use it all the time.

I wish I was reassured about doing well, but one of my teachers has managed to instill the fear of midterms into me so I'm worrying.

I find these entries so entertaining, because I only had Chinese language installed on my laptop - - which means that about four or five characters per sentence will show up, so I can stare it trance like and attempt to figure out what one earth you said. ^.~
