I AM GETTING SICK AND TIRED OF GETTING YANKED AROUND WITH MY JAPANESE COURSES.

First Semester: Class was full before I could even schedule.
Second Semester: I found out the DAY BEFORE CLASSES STARTED that the class was canceled because they didn't have a professor and had to do a frantic rescheduling, AFTER I had to get an override to get the course in the first place!
Third Semester and fourth: Yay, everything's okay for once! Had some problems with rooms, but alright over all!
Fifth (this) Semester: THEY CHANGE TEACHERS LAST MINUTE.

Note that I only needed two semesters for my degree.

Note that I took this course for fun.

Note that I took physics over the summer specifically so I could take this course, with a professor I knew and loved, and whose style and workload I /knew/ I could handle with what is essentially three math courses.

WHY DO THEY KEEP DOING THIS TO ME? WHY WHY WHY?

I'm so ANGRY and upset. Was in tears for a while too. Hashimoto-sensei is still scheduled for the other classes too, so it's not like he didn't get a visa back or something. And as of three days ago he was TEACHING THE CLASS. WHAT GIVES?

Edit: Sending out notification that we're not having conversation hours after conversation hour would end. Saying they posted the syllabus "here" but it's not on any of the programs it should be. I am NOT impressed.

I am SO upset about this.

I'm going to the first few classes. If I don't like it, I'm dropping it. And I'll make sure they know WHY.

I hope it's not that twit who student taught. Not bad, I just don't want a first year teacher.

And after he bought us those manga to use in class and everything... geez. Make the 101 kids have the new teacher; they don't know Hashimoto-sensei yet, so it's no big loss for them.

Dammit. I'm so pissed about this I'm never going to be able to get to sleep, now.

Ugh, WHY must colleges DO this?! I'm pissed off, too-- I showed up for my first session of Literature of Mysticism, textbook in hand, prepared for a semester of philosophizing... and there's a little pink slip on the door saying, "Permanent Cancellation." According to the people hanging out in the class because they had no ride for the next TWO HOURS, the office had been looking for a professor for the class as late as that very morning. DUDE. The course book had the teacher listed, and I know for a fact that the minimum number of students enrolled (classes must have 15 students minimum or the class will be cancelled, and the computer listed 24)... so what happened?! AUGH! *flail* I'm KEEPING the textbook, dammit. They had BETTER have the class next semester.

I'm in your corner. UGH. HATE ON THE ADMINS.
