RL of recent days

bard_linnSat- got dragged up to Grandfather's early, with no time to let anyone know what was going on. Also listened to Dad make many Texas jokes. Was funny.
Sun- went Blue Berry picking, which involves trudging out into woods, wearing long sleeves and pants, long socks (duct taped to pants), hat, bug spray, and sun block (which I am allergic to) and standing out in hot sun for hours and picking berries. With bugs. Ick. Came home, was very tired, jumped online for a bit then passed out in bed.
Mon- Online for a bit, dragged off to visit Grandmother in hospital. Was there for long time (wish I had brought something to do) but things looked good for her to come home today. Had online time and got to chat with some people. And see some people get married. <3
Tues- played around online then went to RL best friend's house. We talked for a while and we got onto an old SW fic we wrote (started to write rather) when we were 13. Actually managed to find copies of it, including the file which had the most updated version. Parts of it made me twitch, but considering the age, it was actually rather well written. We did have two OCs but they were not....okay, I lie. They were MINOR Sues. Didn't fall in love with main character, acted more as combo research assistants/fetchers of important object and the story was never really just for them. It was to deal with a character who had fallen into obscurity, an object most people didn't remembered from the first SW book, and to kill off new Jedi, cause we didn't like them, in that particular order. :) The story started out about Luke, and it mostly revolved around Luke.
On the negative front, they were twins, had long hair, children of Kenobi, carbon copies of our personalities, did play a semi-major role in the story and had a really unbelievable back story. (They are twins merely because it was fun to mess with the superior officers minds because they couldn't tell them apart. Originally they were a single character).
For the record, the names "Liss and Linn" were originally given to the characters, though eventually they migrated to us. =.=;;; Funnily enough, my friend is referred to Liss in RL while I've taken my nickname to be my writing name.
So we created a more realistic back story for them, gave them more quirks, started building a personality.... it's been a lot of fun.
Yes, in other words, we're working on it again. ^.^;;;;;;;;; *pulls out old SW books and blows off dust* With some work we might make it doable even. SW is a more receivable fandom to OCs than some - Mara Jade comes to mind. *snuggles her* - and they're fun characters to mess with.
On the not so good side, turns out my Grandmother can't eat, so is stuck in hospital. Going to another hospital tomorrow for more tests. Yay. =.=
