bard_linnGAH. Have been doing peaches the last few days. Which involves washing peaches, drying peaches, putting not ripe ones in brown bag and then blanching (boiling water then putting peaches in, taking them out and pealing them while still hot) and cutting them. And I'm STILL not done! Got a TON of peaches off the little tree in the yard this year.
Monday starts Bible School, which means I won't be on in the net in the morning (except maybe Wends, because I'm taking that day off for recovery time). What this entitles is me singing, standing and signing - sometimes teaching - from 8:30ish till noon. So by the time I get home I'm ready to fall over. (At least I'm not doing what I did last year. 8:30-12 bible school, work from 2-9. >_<) So, fics will be slowed down but with a little luck I'll still be able to do reposting and maybe get a few other fics written.
Detective Conan is eating my life. All I want to do is read it. And I've got several DC/MK bunnies.
The bad thing is we're about reaching the point where I jump fandoms. *cements feet into FMA*
Izumi's death- doesn't surprise me. Between her condition due to her attempt at HT and the amount of stress she put on her body. Though, her little bit with Wrath makes me think that the alter_series idea of souls being within the Gate is canon. : )
Breaking the Gate-Makes my head hurt. How does one "break" that Gate? o_O Maybe seeing it myself will make it easier to understand. Clarification via kaitou_marina. They didn't break the Gate itself, just the portal that was created between the worlds. Now THAT makes sense!
Ending- Not bad. Ed's alive, and that's the most I can ask for. And he's with Al. Who somehow got back his memories. <- this confuses me.
Ed and Al not searching for way back- I've got a quote teasing my mind about when you look for it you can't find it, but when you leave it alone it comes to you. >D
Overall- I've got the same stance I take on a lot of things. Use it when I want to, ignore it otherwise. AUs are love. Though, this makes one plot bunny I've been working on even more workable. >D Al'll just get his mastery sooner. Must get them to England.
Predictional type thoughts- Al in in a country where his alter - who bore a pretty good resemblence even if he wasn't his exact double - was wanted to work for a not so nice organization. May cause problems. Also, Ed could be considered a "cripple" which was a no no. And for experiment case - gold eyed young man with strange metal limbs and unknown past? Anyone besides me see issues with this?

*pats* I've been hopping between FMA and DC/MK for almost half a year now XDD And now I've been getting back into the HP ficcage (writing, not reading...yet XD). @___@
