HoS: LG: Rules of Engagement

I promised these so here they are.
Rules of Engagement:
We have three settings going on in the LG universe: Masuta’s home world where Ed, Roy and Masuta are currently staying with the Hugheses, the Alchemy world where Riza and Al’s bodies are while their friends are attempting to reunite the five and between the Gate where Al and Riza’s souls are currently residing.
Masuta’s Home World:
* Ed has his automail. He has enough problems without adding prosthetics.
* Ed is the only one who can create the connection between this world and inside the Gate. More specifically, both Al and Ed must be at least subconsciously searching for the other for the link to form while looking into a reflective surface. Ie, mirrors.
*Dangers from the link include the possibility of possession and destruction of the soul. So obviously it’s not good to chance it often.
*We don’t at this time know how they are going to get home.
*Normal rules of history, physics, ect. Do not apply. The trio can meet up with anything up to and including deities, demons, elves, werewolves ect., provided it is done in a reasonable and logical way. (History because I’m pretty sure camera’s weren’t common place at the time but it wouldn’t be Hughes without pretty pictures)
NOTE: If you give them a magical device that suddenly transforms them into some sort of superhero I will hunt you down and kill you. Period. IE, no putting Ed in a sailor fuku.
The Alchemy World:
*Izumi Curtis is coming to examine the alchemy accident.
*We don’t at this time know exactly what the accident was.
*We’ll see a lot of development (at least from me) about minor characters and how they interact with the fivesome.
*Alchemy from this side might be involved in bringing the others home.
Inside the Gate:
*Al and Riza are stuck there. They can’t get out on their own. Specifically, the trio has to help them.
*They can view current events the same way we watch a movie. The past is more fragmented; the further back you go the harder it is.
*They have limited protections there. If the barriers fall their souls can be ripped to shreds by the forces within the Gate.
*Anyone dead can show up here. The good and the bad so we might see some conflict here.
I think that’s it. More will probably develop as things go along so I’ll update this as we go.
And now for some amusing statistics:
Alterseries canon: 69 entries
Alterseries noncanon: 25 entries
HoS canon: 49 entries
LG: 10 entries
Didn't this thing have like 10 entries before it became its own community?
