kazaera writes good genfic that she posts at ishnaru. Also, I don't know if Mikomi's Pen or Shimegami-chan have lj accounts, but their stories on FFN are good.

I quite like Kay the Cricketed's stuff, and I don't think I've seen her recced before. She does mostly gen although some slash and a very good Roy. I absolutely adore Deaf Shot, which is Roy-Ishvar angst. Apart from that, Maaya's already been recced... hmm... there are others but I'm too lazy to think of 'em right now.

Are you trying to convert someone to fandom without brushing against the latent homophobia many non-ficcers seem to have? ^^
