I found out today that my absolutely favorite Mexican restaurant has closed. I have gone to Chi-Chi's for ever one of my birthdays since I was 5. I went there every time my god father came up to visit. It has been a constant place of happiness for me.

And now its gone.

I have yet to find a Mexican restaurant whose food is as good. (Well, there's Ponchos but that's in Texas. Bit of a commute). Now I'm going to have to go mexican shopping.

In other news, I've been reading RotS the book version. It's VERY good. Fills in all sorts of info not in the film, and does excellent characterization. I love the style of the book. Highly recommended (and not just because its SW). My parents found me a R2-D2 pez dispenser(to go into my R2 collection) which makes me happy. Dad also found TPM, so I'm off to watch that. Duel of the Fates, here I come!

All I can think is that you must not have been to many mexican restaurants, if you think Chi-Chi's is the best.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with them, but maybe you're just luckier than me.

I have been RAISED on Mexican. I was actually born in Texas, and have been to many, many, different ones. None have matched my love for Chi-Chi's. My beloved Three Amigos.....the Cancun....

Which one did you go go? I heard a different one gave people a lot of problems...

I live in Maryland. Maybe they just don't think people will be able to tell the difference between good Mexican food and Spicy glop up here.
