Kiraya: That's entirely my fault.

Kiraya: I think this particular chapter went through 4 or 5 edits instead of the usual 2...

Bard Linn: But you did amazing things with it!

Kiraya: You flatter me, as usual :P

Bard Linn: Seriously, all the culture style stuff in here? ALL HER.

Bard Linn: DON'T BELIEVE HER, SHE'S AWESOME.

Kiraya: You're making me bluuuuuuuush.

Bard Linn: It's also true.

Bard Linn: Anyway, a lot of your guessed where we were going with the Yuffie + Rufus scenes. I hope you found it still interesting to see it play out.

Bard Linn: ...I wish you would talk about some of the stuff with language and things you were thinking about when you wrote a lot of this. *pokes*

Kiraya: Sorry, distracted by coding.

Kiraya: Um... I kind of wanted to go for a Sino-Japanese hybrid sort of thing here instead of the straight-up Japanese style thing that's more common.

Kiraya: Thus the mix of names.

Kiraya: Let's see, what else... some of the independence stuff was influenced by Code Geass, a little, as my Kallenmuse was grumbling that Yuffie was pulling a Suzaku and working with the Enemy without making clear any bad feelings about it?

Kiraya: I also tried to add in more stuff to make clear an awareness of the uncomfortable parts of colonialism...

Kiraya: I hope it came out okay.

Bard Linn: I think it came out wonderfully.

Bard Linn: A lot better than what we started with. *cough*

Kiraya: Pshaw.

Kiraya: I just overstepped my role as the overglorified beta a bit more than usual this time, that's all.

Kiraya: If it weren't for you none of this would ever have gotten anywhere.

Bard Linn: Yes well, it's helpful to have you untangle my messes.

Bard Linn: Also, it'll be interesting to hear what you guys think about Turk!Tifa.

Bard Linn: It won't play a huge part in the (tiny) remaining bit of the story line, but I'd love to know. ^.^

Bard Linn: And yeah, I think we'll end this here so we actually get this posted tonight?

Kiraya: Yeah, let's.
