Bard Linn: He's next to Hojo and Rufus and Schneizel. You know, the logical group. Lelouch likes to pretend he's over there, but he totally isn't.

Lelouch: Yes I am.

Kiraya: Here's a picture of Nunnally wearing something cute!

Lelouch: SQUEE!

Bard Linn: So yes. Anyway. *pause* You're really horrified I have Kyuube muse, aren't you.

Kiraya: Yeah.

We're working on Divine Revolutions, really! We just have to finish rewatching the X anime and then reread the manga for comparative stuff and then rewatch Code Geass and then hammer out the outlines a million times better and... it is coming along. Slowly.

Kyuubei is logically driven. I can understand him and follow his choices.

Sei is a selfish bastard who does what he does because he just WANTS to.

I'm a pretty rational (as in, how I make decisions) person, so I generally get the crazy scientist muses.

Kamui is in no way rational. He's Very Mystic.

Why haven't you written Lloyd, then?

Kamui might have something like a plan. He's pushing the events where he wants them to go , operating within the limits of his fucked up circumstances. Or he might be just merely influenced by everyone around him and really helpless to do a thing, whether he wants to or not.

I'm still undecided which one is it.

Lloyd doesn't particularly appeal to me as a character. It probably has to do with the fact I'm more interested in people than machines. XD

Kamui is a combination of a mystic with a (literally) avenging angel a-la old testament (the burn the cities because the people are not Obeying God type) in my head. which I find hard to write.

Ooh, that's a great description. Anyway, I was sort of swayed by the TRC version of him , which is almost Han Solo or Indiana Jones

The TRC version appeals to me a lot more as a character. Of course, I'm like one of three people who ship him more with Sei than with Kamui. >.>

Me shipping TRC Fuuma/Kamui is largelybuddha_loves_me's fics fault. That, and Kiseki CLAMP RPG logs.

I haven't read a single TRC SeiFuuma fic that wasn't shota and a heavy Fuuma abuse. While interesting to read (much like Setsuka/Sei can be quite fascinating and creepy), it's not the best scenario for Fuuma. I've never seen a fic about their adult versions going at it for fun and consentually and it's a pity. Fuuma is in a unique position not only to be able to get under Sei's skin, but to keep up with him. It could have been fun. But I think Fuuma's "type" is more Kamui than Sei, haha. I do think there is some hero/big bro admiration on his part towards Sei, perhaps mixed with bitterness -because Sei would be the worst elder bro ever. The total uncaring opposite of the likes of Toya and Lelouch.

There's so little of them in TRC that I feel like it could go a lot of different ways. But I ship 'em like I ship 'em in X - ice cream fuck buddies. Friends - as much as Sei can be one - who like to play around and get on each others nerves.

....the idea of Sei doing that is just o.O (Vague-Sei muses insists that's boring. It's getting them to WANT you that's the fun part.) I don't read much TRC fic. Now I know why.

I know, that what annoys me most about TRC fandom is that apparently Sei is the local rape machine, constantly assaulting Fai, so that Kurogane can comfort him later 0.o

I don't see Sei like that either /sob

There are good fics out there, but regrettably few.
