Bard Linn: Hello everyone! Shorter wait this time. :) Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

Kiraya: Short chapter this time, but... kind of major.

Kiraya: A transition.

Bard Linn: ...it's not that short....

Kiraya: 12 pages.

Bard Linn: Compared to the beginning of this fic, that's not too bad. Didn't we have one that was like, five once?

Kiraya: True.

Kiraya: It just seems short compared to what I'm working on now.

Bard Linn: ....I did kind of ramble at places there, didn't I. ^^;;;

Kiraya: Yes, dear.

Bard Linn: Ooops?

Kiraya: XD;

Bard Linn: Anyway, I think we're going to get a lot of I KNEW IT and YOU JERKS for this chapter.

Kiraya: (I'm personally expecting some "fkljadfkhakj COP OUT >.<" too, but I'm a pessimist.)

Bard Linn: It actually /was/ planned from the beginning.

Bard Linn: And there is even a sort-of reason for it. Not just us being mean. (Though I'm certainly that too.)

Bard Linn: But you will find that out later.

Bard Linn: Hm...important things to discuss this chapter.....

Bard Linn: ....we had way too much fun with Jenova stuff and research.

Kiraya: YES.

Kiraya: Although there's not as much in here as there is a chapter or two down the line...

Bard Linn: True.

Bard Linn: But we loved coming up with background and stuff in a way that made More Sense to us.

Bard Linn: Doing the remembrance scene was fun too....

Bard Linn: ...yeah, I can't think of much else to talk about. You?

Kiraya: Not really.

Kiraya: Um, posting pace should start picking up since we're done drafting.

Kiraya: And first edits are coming along pretty well.

Kiraya: But we said most of that last time.

Bard Linn: Yup.

Kiraya: ...Though I think this is the shortest between-chapters break in ages.

Bard Linn: Yes.

Bard Linn: I can say that for sure.

Bard Linn: Hopefully not for the last time, however!

Kiraya: Hai!

Bard Linn: So, we'll see you all next time, hopefully soon.

Kiraya: Until then, be well!

I'm currently contemplating the plausibility of clones. Hojo's kind of nice for that sort of mad-science thing - if it's crazy as fuck and involves biology, he's probably tried it.

But Cloud's probably trapped in a lab and is all traumatized now. Crap. But that just means he'll need lots of snuggles from Zack. (And Sephiroth will end up in the snuggle pile too, and Vincent, and neither of them will have any recollection of how this happened.)

Heh. Jumping on the I KNEW IT!! train. So where is Cloud, I wonder. My bet is in a vat of mako, and that's how he's doing the wandering. He may not be conscious. OOOOOOH so many possibilities!! I'm just going to sit here and muse and bounce with glee!

I WAS RIGHT!!! *victory pose* Or, at least partially. ^^; I seem to remember commenting on the clone/copy theory on the chapter where everybody realized that Cloud "died." We'll see about the rest when the other chappies come out. *feels so proud of self right now*

I can't wait to see where this is gonna end up, and while I love the plot movement, the little things like the vigil make me go all happy-squishy inside. I love it when writers remember that there are normal periods along with the cool fights and plot development.
