Bard Linn: Hello all! Nice to see you again. I must say, the cliffie last time brought a lot of readers out of the lurker club!

Kiraya: Yeah, really.

Kiraya: Well, we're glad to have you!

Bard Linn: We hope you've enjoyed our little conclusion to Nibelheim.

Bard Linn: This was a fun chapter to write and we've been waiting to post it, for a whole bunch of reasons.

Bard Linn: You can all thank miterms/half-days/beginning of the semester for Kiraya for this update

Kiraya: Ahhh, more free time for writing; how we love thee.

Bard Linn: Luckily I even got part of 37 started today, though we still have bits and pieces to fill in along the line.

Kiraya: Well, we'll get to it all in good time.

Bard Linn: I suppose we should do our usual chapter run-down?

Kiraya: Sure. :)

Bard Linn: Okay, things about the first scene - may I just say I actually like BE Tifa as opposed to...most of 'em?

Kiraya: We have a lot of fun with her in this story...

Bard Linn: We do, we do.

Bard Linn: Hopefully she didn't disappoint the Tifa fans, but remember, she isn't on the level of game Tifa. She's never left home and gone on the crazy training they get in game.

Kiraya: Though now that she's leaving home, who can tell what'll happen?

Bard Linn: *nod*

Bard Linn: Hm....Let's see, in case anyone is wondering, Vincent broke Jenova's concentration, that's why she lost Sephiroth.

Kiraya: Her hold was shakier, too, with the forced takeover and all.

Bard Linn: ....and I love that Hojo section.

Kiraya: He's a creepy fellow, but somebody's gotta do it.

Bard Linn: And yet my Hojomuse seems surprisingly good at being creepy.

Kiraya: Well, as long as that stays restricted to your Hojomuse and doesn't spread, I can live with that.

Bard Linn: Hm...other thing 'big' thing of the chapter would be the "SephxZack revelation'.

Kiraya: Kudos to those of you who saw it coming.

Bard Linn: And we know some did, either because they picked up the hints or they just uh, know us.

Kiraya: We don't exactly hide our preferences, heh.

Bard Linn: And I have to run, so we'll have to cut this short so you get the chapter tonight, which I'm assuming most people would want.

Kiraya: We've certainly kept them waiting long enough.

Bard Linn: And they've been complaining, at least over at the pit. All right, see you guys, hopefully soon, though definitely by first week in April! That's my spring break. See you then!

Much much love for this chapter. Particularly when Zack tried to explain to Cloud what it is he and Sephiroth have, because really, 'hard to explain' is probably the best anyone would be able to call it.
Lusting after Sephiroth was like wanting to hold a star in your hand; utterly impossible, impractical, and likely dangerous to boot Quite possibly my favourite line of the fic.

I'm rather fond of that line myself. :) I liked it a lot when Cloud told me about it.

We feel bad because he has a tendency to fade into the background at points but he is rather awesome. ^.^

I like how you did Nibelheim. I also like how Cloud can be take charge and how he knows that Sephiroth was not in control of his actions. Now, though, I want to know what will happen when they get back to Midgar. Did Hojo get there first, or did he run? What is the fallout going to be? This was such a good chapter.

If you remember, Hojo was outted as the person who killed the Pres. Why would he go back?

yum. ...I read too fast. * le sigh * Any hoo, I must say that I actually like this Tifa, as surprising as it is to me. She does still give me the urge to knock her upside the head with a large immovable object, but it wouldn't be Tifa if I didn't get the urge to do that. Good Job! and Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! {muffled squee in the background} Have I mentioned that I love this, yet? Well, I do.

I'm rather fond of our Tifa, actually. She's still maturing (never been away from home, has very little interest other than self atm) but she's....less dense about some things and relies on HERSELF as opposed to others.

Nice chapter! Everybody's coming back to Midgar but all the relationships have somehow changed... Zack was unexpectedly wise XD The Talk between him and Cloud was nice.

It would be fun that Cloud goes after Tifa since usually it's the contrary XD

I'm amused you think its nice and one of the people over at the Pit thinks Zack was being 'mean'.

The only thing I could see in the chapter that could be interpreted as "mean" is when Zack hits on Seph right in front of Cloud. But that would suppose that Cloud is jealous and Zack exploits it, or something. Some people can only see the Cloud/Seph in everything *shrugs*
Personally I call it "Zack's straightforwardness™" XD
