Bard Linn: Hello all, and welcome to BE 28.

Kiraya: Which we're very, very, very sorry for being so late.

Kiraya: That was entirely my fault.

Bard Linn: *nod nod - * ....err.....

Bard Linn: Well, I didn't use the beating stick enough.

Bard Linn: And have been taking a lot of your time playing FFVII again together.

Kiraya: True.

Bard Linn: Anyway, this is a very fun chapter for many reasons.

Bard Linn: Not the least being "Wright" for a last name. XD
Bard Linn: And yes, that WAS intentional.

Bard Linn: Anyway, the first part with the Turks is kind of to introduce How Things Are in the Turks and to poke at Tseng a bit, seeing as WE all know that Vinny isn't dead.

Kiraya: *rather liked that scene*

Bard Linn: And then we have the Arthur thing.

Bard Linn: Believe it or not, this is entirely why Arthur first came in. *ducks*

Bard Linn: And I don't want to hear it is completely unrealistic that it would take Cloud that long to figure out same-sex pairings - I KNOW people who are that bad.

Kiraya: Sometimes people can take obliviousness to stupendous degrees, indeed.

Bard Linn: Not all, but some.

Bard Linn: And yes, Cloud is now trying to figure out the question a good number of us are asking: Are Seph and Zack a couple? *snicker*

Kiraya: ......... *can think of any number of things to say about that, but... well*

Bard Linn: *snickers again, for completely different reasons*

Bard Linn: Honestly, my favorite scene in here is the one with Reno and Zack. Kiraya did a stupendous job, didn't she?

Kiraya: You wrote it to begin with.

Kiraya: I just tweaked it a little.

Bard Linn: A lot.

Bard Linn: I love some of Reno's lines. Especially, what was it? "thou shalt not sex up thy students’"

Bard Linn: *bows before Kiraya's wit*

Kiraya: Oh, stop that -- you're making me blush. :P

Bard Linn: ....So?

Bard Linn: I'm supposed to apologize for this?

Kiraya: ......well...

Bard Linn: That's what I thought.

Kiraya: This story still would never have gone anywhere without you, though.

Bard Linn: Nor would it without you. But enough patting our backs....we have the Rocket Town Scenes.

Bard Linn: Those blasted Rocket Town Scenes.

Kiraya: They did give us a little trouble there, didn't they...?

Bard Linn: How many rewrites?

Bard Linn: Three or four?

Kiraya: Four, I think.

Bard Linn: Plus proofings.

Bard Linn: Aie, it was a mess. We kept oscillating between writing everything and questioning if it was too much away from the main focus.

Kiraya: Which it would've been if it were a stand-alone chapter as we first planned...

Bard Linn: But really, just writing about Cloud, Shera and Cid would have invented even MORE OCs and...ick.

Bard Linn: It was a mess. It doesn't help I still lack a Cid muse.
Kiraya: Mine comes and goes.

Kiraya: And for that writing, he definitely was gone.

Bard Linn: Like, to the stars.

Bard Linn: Oh, and in case anyone was wondering.....the ShinRa techs did find the error Shera noticed years ago during the first launch and fixed it.

Bard Linn: They just never told her, of course.

Kiraya: Or Cid, since he wasn't supposed to be going in the first place.

Bard Linn: Of course.

Bard Linn: And I Totally Do Not Apologize for the cliff hanger.

Kiraya: It was a good cliffhanger.

Kiraya: Next chapter will be fun. <3

Bard Linn: Plot ahead!

Bard Linn: Lots of it.

Kiraya: Finally. >..>

Bard Linn: Eh, it comes and goes.

Kiraya: Exposition is important too! *waves banner*

Bard Linn: And relationship building.

Kiraya: *nodnodnod*

Bard Linn: But I think we're done. *yawn* I'm still recovering from my Atlanta trip. XD

Kiraya: And having an interview again right after didn't help, probably.

Bard Linn: Eh, it was a ten minute interview. The drive was the worst part of it.

Bard Linn: BUT! I have a job for September and that's what matters.

Kiraya: Yup! ^..^

Bard Linn: So I think we'll say good night. No promises when the next chapter will come, but we hope it will be sometime in July.

Kiraya: Perhaps a little later than the second week--

Bard Linn: Yeah, probably.

Kiraya: ...well, not the third week, since we'll be away, but...

Bard Linn: OTAKON!!! *SQUEE*

Bard Linn: Ahem. >.> <.<

Bard Linn: We'll get it up eventually.

Kiraya: Of course!

Bard Linn: Until then, enjoy your summer!

may I just say I love you ladies? *grins* Poor Cloud finally got The Talk. *giggles* And Tseng. Oh Tseng. Your worst nightmare is about to come true. Vincent Valentine is not only alive and well, but he's right in the same city as you. *snickers*

Yay for the Prez being dead! That means Rufus takes the throne :D

So in the end the thing Zack was afraid would happen didn't happen anywhere near Cloud, but near him XD Arguably having Cloud around could have made it different - or Zack simply has no prophetic abilities and I'm reading too much into his protectiveness.

Yay for Shera and Cid! Even if the latter got no lines. The Starly Starguy person sounded really annoying, and it was kind of cathartic to see him not get to go to space afterall.

Actually, that's just for irony sake. XD He has no prophetic abilities, nor would Cloud's presence have made a difference.

*snicker* Reading the outtakes and notes is just as much fun as reading the chapter. (I love Scott and Paul, by the way. Two of my all time favourite OMCs, they are.)

Cid will show back up, but it's going to be a loooooong time.

Bwahahahaha!! I still cant get over Zack giving Cloud 'the TALK about sexual preferences' and -oh god!- ‘thou shalt not sex up thy students' is going to make my week. Ahahahaha. Reno is such a player *waggle eyebrow

I like how you've portrayed the dynamics of Cloud/Seph/Zack friendship (maybe more?). You've kept them wonderfully in character ^__^

I'm glad Cid's coming up!! Can't wait for Yuffie!! I'm sure you're going to gradually introduce the rest of the group.
