The Adventures of the Studying Duo

So, took my last final today. A bit of week in review then....
My study partner and I met up Thursday and started studying for Differential equations. How does one study for DEQ? You write every problem on a note card, the answer on the back, and practice over and over using black boards and wipe boards until you know them. 105 of them. Our proff takes problems right off the HW, so if you know them you're good. Things that happened during our study sessions:
Saturday- During a break we went over to the Bio computer lab. There I got to read about Hime throwing Pillows at Roy. *grins some more* Only afterwards we turned out to be locked out of the physics building where we were studying. So we had to run through Bio, accross the bridge to chemistry and from Chem to Physics. Later when we were in burn out we had races down the hall and pushed each other in chairs. (My partner nearly shoved me into the wall twice. I was a lot better, probably all of that practice in Elementry school. Pushing people on scooters is a LOT harder than a chair. The chair doesn't fall off the scooter.
Sunday- Got to school at 9AM only to find our room (the one we've been studying in all year)was locked. We couldn't even get in through bio, which was really weird. So we went to social sciences. Which had chalk boards (which we needed), comfy chairs (which we also needed, though not a comfy as our usual) and outlets for the stero system. Problem being the comfy chairs weren't in the rooms with chalk boards. So, we made off with them and set up camp. Afterwards went home and studied Japanese for a while.
Monday- Studied Japanese (Thought the Kanji I was reviewing didn't even show up on the exam) then went to classroom to wait. No one was there, so I hopped over to a computer lab to check our location. Sure enough, we weren't in our usual room. We were in BI 208. Now, there are two places on campus that could be: Biology building or Bliss. So I checked bio first (was closer) but no one was there. Went over to Bliss, found out 208 was an office. Met up with several other members of the class and headed back to bio. And waited. And waited. Sense had gotten lost along with half the class!!!!! *giggle* So we stared a half hour late. Exam wasn't too bad, finished early, went home and wrote some. Went back at night for another study session.
Tuesday- Meet my partner in the morning and practiced DEQ some more. Went and took exam. Didn't get perfect, screwed up the region on the last question (darn) but did well enough to secure the A in the class. Went home, went back that night for review session but we were both so fried we didn't get much done. Went out to dinner to celebrate end of classes (late). Found a place with a really GREAT taco salad. A lot of the others food was bad though. Went back, got my head snapped off by my partner for wanting to go home (my stuff was in her room which I couldn't get to without her) then went home.
Wend- Played around on net most of the day, study session from 4-9. Had panic attack realizing how much stuff we had to know.
Thursday- went to class study session. Found out we really did get to use the formula sheets (7 pages worth of stuff) and felt much better. Asked some questions (turned out to be on the exam too, so that was really good)then went home. More studying that night, but first had to help my partner pack her car. (Another good reason to be off campus).
Friday- Went to Exam. Went really well, think I nailed the A for the class. Afterwards helped my partner finish her packing and clean the room. *grumbles about slavery* Took her out for ice cream to celebrate end of finals/her birthday. Swung back and picked up mexican (my traditional meal for last day of finals) and came home. Attempted to cut grass, only to find out I can't get the new lock off the shed. Well, I TRIED....
And that's that. I'll be doing a lot of cleaning and the like this comming week but hopefully a lot of writing too.
