Busy, busy, busy!

Well, things have gotten really crazy around here, so here's a quick rundown.

- got back from Disney. We had a great time, but it was pretty tiring.
- My birthday rolled around - Thanks, Rose-twin for the shout out - which was pretty relaxing.
- School started, which is crazy. I get to borrow a room this year, and I'm so happy about it!

....what I'm less happy about is I just found out I missed my credit card bill due date by 7 days. *beats. head. into. desk.* They sent the bill while I was out traveling, and I had put some money on before, but there was some left I didn't catch. *beats head some more* Gaaaaaah. I know that's going to do HORRID things to my credit score, and I was hoping to house hunt in the next year or two.... Already called the company and it is automatic, so they can't do anything about it.

Damn. Damn. Damn. *hates self, sometimes*

I'm sure I can't be the /only/ person I know who has ever missed a payment - does anyone know how much that'll really affect you? Somebody had to know, right? Older, wiser people out there, HELP.

...I hope Kiraya comes home soon. *sighs*

Last day of school for the week tomorrow. Thank God.

**HUGS** On the plus side, one missed payment shouldn't ruin your credit score. If you're on time every time and with everything for the next year or so, you should be all right to go house-hunting. Y'know, the idea that so long as it's *just once* it's clear that there were probably exigent circumstances. At least, I think so. I'm not terribly sure how credit scores are calculated. ^^;;;

Turns out one missed past 30 days will drop you 30 points easy, but late by a few days is okay. (If you DO miss one, it can affect you for SEVEN YEARS oh my god. Overkill MUCH, huh?)

I don't keep terribly careful track of things but when people have had to run credit checks for like rental stuff for me, my credit score is supposedly good and you are definitely not the only one who has had a late payment here or there. By no means have I done it often, but it does happen from time to time.

So I'm thinking it probably doesn't like kill it, kill it. But like I said, I don't know for sure XD;; Hopefully that's the case anyway, ne?
