The more I see Palin interviewed, the more freaking SCARED I get at the idea of her being in charge of the country.

Bush had a foreign policy doctrine? Who knew?

And this is really useful, in case anyone wanted to know where people stood on events.

Things are still going pretty well at school. I've picked up the Anime club at school and will probably be having our first meeting on Friday. I won't get paid for it but...well, not everything is about money.

I have a lot more free time than last year, if not necessarily the motivation to work on BE. It's hard with mom around too - she keeps harping on us to 'do things' around the house.

I....really despise the new priest who took over for Father B. Mom and I have committed to Christmas break, but nothing necessarily after that. Going to church is hard enough as it IS without all the hoopla he likes to throw in.

Nope. He's a By-The-Book, let's throw in Tons of Chants and Random Prayers while rushing through everything.

He's also almost seven feet tall. :/

XD Ni-ice. We had our own Father B for a while who liked to randomly burst into song. Well, not so much random, all the songs he burst into were related to the Mass part, but yeah. (My church is a bit of a revolving door when it comes to priests. The joke in my family is that it's a training ground- if they can make it here, they can make it anywhere.)

What will be on the agenda/playlist for your anime club?
While I applaud your increase in free time, I pout at your lack of BE motivation; this is one of my all-time favourite fics, and I would regret not seeing more of it. The lyricism combined with the simple humanity of the characters has me thoroughly hooked. Add a dash of intrigue to a heady base of action and adventure, and the result is pure genius.
Your command of language, as well as your knowing use of characterisation and dialogue, elevates this story from merely exceptionally readible to the realms of superb.
I look forward to the next part, whenever it comes to be.

*blush* Well, I'm glad you enjoy it so much. A lot of the language is kiraya's doing - though I'll admit I do a lot of the dialogue. :)

Edit: And apparently I have forgotten how to LJ code properly. *headdesk*
