Mom and CBL are back from Italy....

From CBL's side, apparently just about every person she talked to on the tour were convinced Mom was being too uptight about how she was chaperoning. CBL was feeling torn all trip because everyone was complaining about her (our) Mom. On Mom's side, she was feeling ditched (especially when she went on the trip to hang out with CBL some for 'bonding time' - the two of them don't have the close relationship Mom and I have together) and she probably didn't even know how she was coming across. The trip involved lots of walking, which isn't so great with foot problems, back problems, etc. She also had the roommate from HELL who caused all sorts of problems and was generally exhausted. Mom and I both tend to be tight with the rules because we don't want things going wrong.
I'm feeling torn on both sides, because I can see - and am close - to both people, which sucks. I told CBL next time she needs to TALK to Mom, since we don't always realize we're coming across that way. I had that problem sometimes in school (of course, they told me all the kids were scared of me three days before I left *rolls eyes*), so I REALLY can understand.
Sucks. *sigh*
Also,kiraya, do you know how adopted you are? Mom brought you back a present from Italy. XD
Well, hopefully we'll jump back into costume making and such soon. I'm going to miss the quiet - but it's almost time for Con. Gotta hurry!
