Bard Linn: Hm....well, we covered the response to Tifa - I know some of you were hoping for evil things to happen to her, but well, she's not /evil/....
Kiraya: Just desperate.
Bard Linn: Yeah.
Kiraya: And selfish. But mostly desperate.
Kiraya: Self-centered, I should say.
Bard Linn: Also true. Hopefully she'll grow out of it.
Kiraya: Well, she's young yet.
Bard Linn: *nod*
Bard Linn: More Vin'n'Chaos this chapter as well. : )
Kiraya: I do love Chaos.
Bard Linn: He's entertaining.
Bard Linn: And more Aeris this chapter as well. I do love our Aeris. No push over is she!
Kiraya: Not at all. ^..^
Kiraya: A girl who's lived in the slums most of her life should know how to defend herself, of course.
Bard Linn: Just needs a hand now and then, though she might have been okay if Cloud hadn't stepped in too....never know.
Kiraya: Aeris: secret hand-to-hand master?
Bard Linn: Who knows? Or maybe something else, given what she is and all.
Kiraya: Hmmmmm, yes.
Bard Linn: What else this chapter.....
Bard Linn: Oh, random note: the stock dialogue comment is a reference to the Slayer's Novels. I think its the first one, though not a 100% sure.
Bard Linn: And we have possessive!Vinny in here....
Kiraya: Possessive!Vinny is so cute. <3
Bard Linn: He is!
Bard Linn: ....even if he is a bit dense at times. XD
Kiraya: Hee.
Kiraya: Well, chalk it up to long years of little human interaction.
Bard Linn: Hm....Oh, and the Omnislash thingy. Which, technically propably was pre-Nibelheim in canon, but Cloud was a) too closed off from Zack at that point and b) too focused on other stuff to be looking into things like that. Only after Zack became his friend was that possible.
Kiraya: Well, Zack HAS been working on it for a while, as he said...
Bard Linn: *nod*
Bard Linn: Had Cloud not been dodging Zack at every opportunity before the exams, he
might have seen it sooner.
Bard Linn: And Cloud has finally reentered the program which means things are starting to move along.
Kiraya: Slowly but surely.
Bard Linn: *cough* Very slowly.
Kiraya: Well... the development of characters and their relationships is at least as important to the story as the plot.
Kiraya: If not more so.
Bard Linn: Life story. Not adventure story.
Bard Linn: Must remember.
Bard Linn: No walking out of town and bouncing in lines while fighting monsters. >.>
Kiraya: XD
Bard Linn: :P
Bard Linn: Well, I think that's it for this chapter....

Ah, luckily they can't do that. ^^ If you look back, Turks can only pull SOLDIER candidates in their first time through the program. This is Cloud's second. And if they tried Zack would probably maim them. >.>
