Bard Linn: Hello everyone! Hope you enjoyed chapter 5! *grins and looks around* So, how many people were expecting to end up in Midgar this chapter?

Kiraya: Not too many, I hope... :P

Bard Linn: Because there really was stuff to tie up in this chapter.

Kiraya: And people to (re)introduce. Like our bully-boy... and Tifa!

Bard Linn: Yes, Tifa!

Kiraya: Strong, independent Tifa, who sees no reason to depend on Cloud to come rescue her! Gods, I love our Tifa to bits. She totally makes up for the complete letdown game!Tifa was after seeing movie!Tifa.

Bard Linn: Because she never knew Cloud very well. >.> Cloud has no social skills.

Kiraya: Poor baby. We'll have to work on that. *pets him*

Bard Linn: Anyway, Tifa will be showing up again, eventually. We originally were going to do the entire thing with the well and the promise and we realized it didn't work. XD;;

Kiraya: For the aforementioned reasons. ^..^;;

Bard Linn: Kir and I aren't fond of Mr. Bully-boy, but he makes a wonderful plot device.

Kiraya: Indeed. Plot devices are fun to play with.

Bard Linn: Very much so.

Kiraya: In the end, that's what all our OCs are... plot devices. Some get a little more development than others, but...

Bard Linn: They all serve a purpose. Some stay around after that purpose is filled though….We also got to see more of Cloud and his mom this chapter, which was very nice.

Kiraya: The more we do with Cloud's mom, the more I like her…of course, that seems to be the case with most of our female characters, though. >..>

Bard Linn: *laughs* Well, there are lots of good females in FFVII.

Kiraya: Mmmhmm.

Bard Linn: Poor Vin-chan didn't show his face this chapter and he won't be returning to the stage until chapter 11, sadly.

Kiraya: Is it eleven? I thought he showed up at the very end of 10...

Bard Linn: Er....*goes to check*

Kiraya: Either way, we shall miss him terribly.

Bard Linn: You're right, it is 10. I forgot about that scene. XD;; I really am getting to like our Vin a lot.

Kiraya: Oh, indeed.

Bard Linn: But, the good thing about this chapter is....

Kiraya: We finally get to Midgar!

Bard Linn: And that means....

Kiraya: Zack! And Seph!

Bard Linn: Yes indeed! Zack shows up next chapter and Seph in 7!

Kiraya: ...I still love how we introduce Seph, so, so much.

Bard Linn: Oh YES. >DDD ….And of course, we should mention the Cloud torture count stands at: 3 physical injuries, one emotional anguish and one case of motion sickness.

Kiraya: ...you really are going to do that all the way through, aren't you? :P

Bard Linn: I forgot last chapter. ;.; Anyway, I can't think of anything to add. You?

Kiraya: Hmmm... no, I think that's about it.

Bard Linn: Well, we'll see you all in two weeks then! Make sure to come on time; we'll bring the Zack. ^_~

Kiraya: Mmm, yessss... >D

This story is one of my LOVE stories! X3
You guys properly develop the character and plot while still being able to keep the readers attention~! This is currently my third favorite long-term fanfic of all time, along with Fusion and Coerul(which haven't updated in a loooooooong time ;_;) My fist and second are ALHR and Exegesis.

I think you might have meant either He's twice you size, or You're half his sizes, or something like that.

Thank you! That's a very high compliment! Fusion is my personal favorite FFVII, with Bound, ALHR, Conflict of Interest fighting for second place. XD

Actually, it is a genuine saying. ^^ Kiraya could explain it better than I probably, so I'll flag her and let her talk to you. ^_^

"Half again your size" pretty much amounts to "your size," plus half of that. Not that Cloud is particuarly large, but still... XD

And thank you VERY much for the compliment! To be compared with such high-quality stuff as Fusion and ALHR is an honour indeed. :)
