Almost time for Spring!

So yeah, If I had time I'd go through THIS and talk about it, but I don't, so I'm not going to waste my breath. General conscientious is IJ is better because Squeaky at least, you know, TALKS to us. He has actually implemented things we've talked about and/or requested. Maybe he will sell in a few years - but until then, I feel safer about some content over there as opposed to LJ (who has actually gone on random deleting sprees). Any body else think he put stuff like that in the ToS BECAUSE of what is happening at LJ? Maybe he's just being cautious. Personally I'd rather have a harsher ToS; makes things seem more open, in a way.

So, to drill it down to simple sentences: I like where IJ is going. I'm not sure I like where I'm seeing LJ going (seeing as they seem to be making the same mistake over and over again - NOT TALKING TO US). I have a permanent account here, but it sure doesn't seem to hurt to have a back up - and its only IJ vs. LJ anymore since GJ died a sad death.

Will probably be joining in the silence, but from me that's nothing new considering how little I've been posting/commenting - besides, I'll be cleaning.

I've got one more day of school before a three day break, then another week then Spring Break. This is a very odd schedule but we're pretty sure its because of where Passover falls. On the other hand, I'll have the house for a week to myself.

kiraya is coming over tomorrow for the first time in THREE WEEKS! We plan to finish CC tomorrow/this weekend before she goes home (not where done with missions yet - we're probably going to start a new game and do materia fusion as we go along instead of trying to finish this one because that's crazy - or maybe just do that in the game plus, hm....)

We're still getting reviews at the pit for the latest chapter of BE. Some of them are nice, some are amusing, but I wish people would stop leaving dramatic "I'm not going to read this story anymore because of romance!" or some other nonsense. There's been romance since CHAPTER 9 and suddenly it bothers you at ....32? Am I the only one seeing an issue with this? :P

Off I go to make quizzes for my children. *scurries*

I admit I have issue with the Seph/Zack portion, but as long as you don't get graphic with it, I won't mind. I would put a warning on the chapter though. "Warning, certain people in this chapter are shown to swing both ways."

Just as a friendly warning to people so they are expecting it. Although, from the 'favorite stories' links you guys have at ff.net, I was wondering why it was taking so long to get to that point anyways.

Not that you have shown tendencies like that before, when the Turks were after Cloud in more ways than one. I'm at least glad you're not pushing Cloud that way. Or at least not yet.

Well, as far as graphic sex goes, this is a life fic, not a romance, and that's is just not in the works. As for implied sex, we'll always put in warnings when it shows up in a chapter -- whether it's Seph/Zack or something else.

But... "Warning, certain people in this chapter are shown to swing both ways"? No no no no no. Gay (and bisexual) people do not, and should not, come with an advisory -- unless it's "warning, certain people in life are shown to be non-heterosexual," and we dropped that spiel back in chapter 28. And considering what Scott said about how common it is in SOLDIER, it was only a matter of time before a revelation like this happened to Cloud, really.

Warning for sexual content, even if highly glossed, is perfectly understandable, and indeed, rightly expected. Warning for nonnormative sexualities just because they might offend delicate heterocentric sensibilities -- ESPECIALLY when, as you point out, our other works, favorite stories lists, and (in my case) profile info clearly indicate our openness towards nonnormative relationships to anyone who takes the time to look -- is simply absurd.

Well, look at it this way. It could always be worse: we could only update once or twice a year. :P

Things have been kinda hectic in our lives lately, but we're trying for posting the next chapter sometime during the first week of April (can't make any guarantees just yet, though!).

Well from my viewpoint (i LOOOOOOOOOVE BE by the way) people get upset because you've finally set a "pairing" if you know what I mean and now people can't dream up thier own pairings anymore?
