Reaction from the latest chapter

Can I just say how amused I am about how people are reacting to BE32? Some people are like "OMG, ZackxSeph most evil thing ever you ruined the story for me!"....amazing how many of these people a) never reviewed before and (obviously) b) never looked at our profiles. Kiraya's got her pairings LISTED for Shiva's sake.

(Hm....Shiva. So pretty.)

I can think of one reviewer who figured out homosexuality would probably be included and asked. We told her/him that yes, it would be. I refuse to warn for homosexuality. Life is not going to pop up and say "WARNING. HOMOSEXUAL COUPLE AROUND THE CORNER."

We knew some people would react like that though. The REALLY amusing thing is the "OMG NOT CLOUD/TIFA I BEG YOU!!!!" reviews. Of course it feels a bit weird - Cloud has just decided to TRY it. They aren't going to turn into a couple overnight.

(And for the record - people STILL thinking it might end up Vin/Cloud get a clue stop hoping. It is a platonic, father/son relationship, kay?)

...and I really should compose a Real Life update, shouldn't I? *gets started*

Yeah, the pit. You should read some - they're FUNNY. I think the most amusing one is the one claiming Zack is 'cheating' on Aeris even thought they broke up....about 5 years ago, story time.

Go figure.

(I know. I see it all the time in high school GAH. I don't need that, thank you!)

I can understand disliking a character. I dislike certain characters (like...Hojo!) but that doesn't mean I'm not going to try and write 'em like they are - or at least try to make them multi-dimensional (as opposed to canon).

I don't remember ever feeling passionate enough about a character to hate it. Love a chara? Sure I do, many of them. Hate? Not really. Mostly, I'm indifferent. Even to bad guys; usually, if I feel they're flat, I think of them as mcguffins and go on; if they're awesomely wicked, I'll hate what they do but love how they're done. Like Hojo - as a person, I think he should die in a garbage processing truck, but as a character, I think he works very well and appreciate his existance...

Honestly, I've no idea if what I typed makes sense XD;; sorry for the confusing ideadump.

...wow. There's some rather special reviews there. I see the one where they bemoan the possibility of Cloud/Tifa, but you forgot to say they'd rather Cloud/Vinny... even though there were no hints and you kept saying they wouldn't ever be going there. Gah.

Zack was acting like a major ass to Cloud, all he cared about was his relationship with Seph.

This person must have been reading a different fic.

And the whole Tifa part was like ugh! So it seems like Cloud is getting the short end of the stick here

...because he's considering Tifa? You'd think she was the worst thing available in the female cast. Seriously, even for Tifa haters, she couldn't possibly be beneath Scarlet.

...if I wrote a review saying "CLOTI 4EVA!!!!", would it generate review wank?
