I love my sister. She's a wonderful, caring, person, probably better than I am.

But I am also sometimes VERY JEALOUS of her.

*sigh* It's stupid, but whenever I look at her four + three new ones from the promotion ceremony tonight (especially when compared to my one I got this year) I can't help but feel like the 'trial child'. It doesn't help when the parents say "ah, well, we'll know better when this happens to [my sister]"

You know, I get the same sort of thing--and I'm the third born of six. The explanation is always "Well, we'll have it right when Kid is your age."

...I feel I should mention that Kid is ten. I'm twenty-one. My elder brother is twenty-two and my elder sister is twenty-four.

And my parents still don't "have it right" yet.

So yeah, been there. *huggles*
