Despite everything, Zack still doesn't trust Vincent some days. He looks into those red eyes and he sees the Turk-that-was still alive within the man and shivers, because he knows when a Turk has a goal he will throw everything away to get it.

Zack couldn't exist with just Sephiroth. The man is a black hole, sucking in everything Zack gives him -though he stubbornly tried to ignore it for a while - but gives nothing back. Zack needs other to balance him out.

Cloud is the little brother Zack never had but always wanted. Maybe if he had one, he wouldn't have left home, because a sibling might have filled that hole in his life that ShinRa, SOLDIER and Sephiroth fell into.

Cloud still follows Vincent 9 out of 10 times. He hopes he never had to pick between Vincent and Zack, because he isn't sure who he would pick.

Cloud is a tea drinker, not a coffee drinker.

Cloud still isn't sure what to call his relationship with Sephiroth. Zack thinks their friend, but Cloud can't agree - yet he feels they're closer than coworkers at the same time.

Vincent actually did try to leave Nibelheim after Cloud did and seek out his vengeance upon Hojo, but for some reason his plans always got snarled. After a while, he just gave up and sulked.

Vincent is essentially asexual. Hojo killed it.

Vincent values Cloud more than even HE knows.
