Work, play and presents

bard_linnVisited my RL best-friend / first "twin" yesterday to exchange presents. I got her the origional Star Wars triology (one disk was for her birthday. Yes, 9 months in advance, but who's counting!) She was very happy; I was afraid someone would buy them for her, but apparently not. :) She got me a kimono from Japan (bought in Kyoto when she was studying there) with Obi and made me jingle bell earings I will annoy everyone with. Good times. (She also dressed me up almost properly in the kimono too and took a picture, but I do not have it, thus cannot share it.)
I have been working on lesson plans for student teaching. I've drafted the first chapter for Algebra and have the first two of the second chapter also done. Hope to finish the chapter off tomorrow or Saturday. Thursday night to most of Friday will be spent at my cousins' house, plotting stuff for otakon and watchign a boogiepop marathon. >D
Still have not started writing BE29. Bad, bad Linn. Have been instead playing KHII more again. I have just hit the "final" set of twilight town, with Sora at level 50, Master, Valor and Summons at level 5 and my Wisdom just shy of level 4 and I haven't hit The World That Never Was. I've spent very little time "leveling" anything in partcular, actually. I'm seriously considering writing a leveling guide for KHII. The ones out there seem to encourage you to waste a lot of time when you can level up quite easily going along. I'm even enjoying using the summons, surprisingly enough. Genie is a lot of fun.
