So. Was going through my FL options and dropping the fic comms back on - being as it is less than two days now - and noticed something interesting. Anyone every hear od ff_press before? Apparently they collect fan work links and put them together in daily digest. May have to join that, though I haven't made up my mind yet. They recced BE and a few other things. *squee* Both of the mods get all of my respect. This is actually bigger than the fullmetal_info digests from the look of it.

Also noticed something else when I was going through the friends list...where did all of you COME from? *blink blink* Not that I mind but....

Also, talking to the world at large, in case you were wondering, either I have a virus, or I am experiencing a server allergy attack, both of which are possible, considering the time of the year. Good thing it isn't strep. We were worried when I woke up and couldn't swallow at all. ^^; But for now I am basically on the "Ice cream diet" with some other nummy soft stuff thrown in.

I discovered ff_press when I realized it was stalking my livejournal and had already recced the fic that I didn't mean to post anywhere (Horizon). To this day, I have no idea how they found out about it. In other news, I really like it ~ it's better than fullmetal_info because it draws from all the different communities on livejournal instead of just one, as well as personal journals. In this way, all of the good fic out there becomes accessible through one simple medium. Lately they've had some issues keeping up with the sheer quantity, but I think KHII is to blame for that. ^.^;;;

And you can blame me for one of your random friends, and Kyt for a different one that I recognize, but beyond that, beats me! If you figure out where they come from, kindly let me know!

That's how I found out about it too. ^^ Hey, I have no idea how they found BE either. We haven't exactly pimped that. XD

Very true. Drawing from a bunch of different sources is cool.

I saw it some time ago - I think the original maintainer pimped it on ff7 or adventchildren_.

Not that it helps keep track of your fics - I always read my FF Peeps filter before the FF Comms one.

I like the idea, the HP fandom has had a similar setup for ages now, damn useful thing for keeping up with fandom info.
