Now that we’ve got the obvious out of the way….

I think it’s amazing you know your weaknesses so well. True, you don’t know quite how to compensate yet, but knowing what you can’t do well is half the battle.

I also admire how you go your own way. You don’t follow fandom trends – you start fandom trends half the time – but instead do whatever interests you. Het, gen, yaoi, you name it. If you want to do it, you do it regardless of what others might say about it.

You are amazingly accepting of people in general. You have a large variety of people on your friends list that have different tastes, but you don’t let that interfere with your relationship with them.

You are in general a very kind person to people who come “knock on your door” so to speak. You aren’t elitist and you don’t send them away, even when they do get on your nerves occasionally.

Your main strengths in my book are creativity, acceptance and patience – which I know you have. Couldn’t have become an artist without it! *hugs*

I don't know you very well personally, but from your works in fandom I can see you have amazing talent. Your writing is great, your art is incredible. The whole idea of Lurker Day was really neat - hopefully next year I'll be able to participate. I'm impressed by your ability to be in multiple fandoms at once and do a great job with them. And everything I've seen of the person "behind the comp" tells me you are an amazing individual.

Recing fics serves two purposes in my mind. First to let people know other good fic exists. Second to let the author know their fic IS good!

(And I’m sorry about that lent thing. ^^;)

You have a very distinct writing style, very different from many other FFVII writers’. You write what you like, rather than what’s popular, which some people will do. Out there and crazy? Doesn’t bother you. You revel in the diversity you can create.

Also, I totally admire you for getting a Japanese PS2 and playing the games in Japanese. I don’t think I could do that any day. It amazes me you can even play it!

Well, when I saw one or two people doing the Lent thing, I thought it was an interesting exercise in self-restraint. When another handful of people mentioned that they, too, weren't reading anything, I realized that I'm glad I have Easter off so I can do one massive site update.

Yeah, me too. But with KH2, at least, there's a ton of English already coded into it. (And even though even 'Load' is in there in English, I much prefer yelling 'ROAD!' at the kana...) Once I get to the games without any sort of help, I expect to be much more frustrated!

You’re a talented writer who had a knack for details. You also manage to polish a lump of coal I hand you and turn it into an amazing diamond. You’re gifted with languages – the fact you use your Spanish at your job is really neat.

I think you’ve struggled a lot in life but you’re still fighting in your own way. I admire that. ^^

Fandom wise, you’re one of the writers who examines the darker sides of relationships but still makes the reader addicted, even if they aren’t fans of the darker stuff. And that takes talent. :)

I can’t believe you went and studied in another country! I’m amazed by that, and just a tad bit envious because I don’t do well with foreign situations and probably will never go someplace I can’t understand people again. ^^; I also am awed by the amount of work you put into your school that year; I know that year was really stressful with the lack of break.

Your writing, of course, is excellent, HoS and otherwise. ;) It certainly brings the sun back into the comm.

I’m amazed by your ability to study both languages and math. I don’t think I could ever do that! It’s a hard major but you seem to be doing well.

I’m also amazed you’ve been able to endure everything you have in your life so far. You don’t always win, but you keep coming back to fight some more.
