bard_linnIt's amazing how much just having something started can make your feel better. I've got a SUPER rough draft of my first lesson plan done and I am feeling much more relieved about the whole "UNIT DUE MARCH SIXTH ALL DIE AND DESPAIR" thing. Hopefully will read through another tomorrow and get some of that done too. I need to check with my co-op and see what sort of materials we have to play with and do a check on the kid count. Need to send my format to my partner too. I know she hasn't started her lessons yet - which means she'll have to use my format. >D
I'm feeling pretty good about geometry too. I was able to do most of the stuff on the practice tests rather easily and going to her office hours today (Ugh, today was SUCH a pain. I think I was staying at places for about a half an hour tops and running the rest of the time.) helped a lot with glide reflections and composition of transformations, which was my weakest area. I do need to study the proofs some more, but I'm feeling rather good over all.
Wish we didn't have stupid "this is how you do an e-portfolio" this Friday morning though. I could use the time to work on Geometry and lesson planning and all. But do teachers stop assigning stuff so we can get work done? OF COURSE NOT. Need to get my lesson plan rough drafts done this weekend if I can, so I can work on the analytical paper. *grumbles*
Fic bunnies are nibbling mightily. Division in particular. I've got the next chapter basically handwritten - JPE isn't bad for EVERYTHING after all - but it'll have to wait to be typed until I'm either a) brain dead or b) done with my unit. Tomorrow I'm bringing my textbook and working on lesson plans though. That way I'll get done soon and hence be able to write for real!
Speaking of ficcage, it's a BE weekend update. Chapter 6 with Zack! I can't believe we're on chapter 6 already. That means that there are approximately 12ish weeks left in the semester. @.@ Ah, so much stuff still left to do...
Oh! Car has been fixed again, so I will have it back tomorrow. Thankfully. Hopefully it will not break again this semester. It's been rather expensive. ;.;
