Meme time! (I should make a real post one of these days)

Name me a character in one of my fandoms, and I will tell you:
* How I feel about this character
* All the people I ship romantically with this character
* My non-romantic OTP for this character
* My unpopular opinion about this character
* One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon
* Something about them I consider true, though it's just head canon/fanon

Applicable fandoms: Fullmetal Alchemist, Madoka, FFVII, Babylon 5, Kingdom Hearts, Slayers, Card Captor Sakura, Clamp Campus Detectives, X(/1999), Tokyo Babylon, Princess Tutu, Code Geass, Harry Potter, and the Dresden series. :3 Or you know, something else you want to ask, though can't guarantee I'll have stuff worked out for them in my head yet...

Just because I love him lots....Harry Potter. :)

I love Harry to pieces. I love his loyalty to his friends (baring teenage moodswigs) and how he stands up for the little guy.

"All" the people is just really Hermione, though I have read good fic for Draco as well.

Cobra Non romantic OTP would probably be Luna, though I might ship her with him if someone did a good job with it.

Unpopular opinion of Harry? Um, most of what I think is pretty common...

Epilogue. Just....yeah. That.

I really do think that Harry was abused to a level that should have gotten legal action on someone's part. That's supported in canon, but not everyone interprets it that way. :/ Alternatively, I think Harry has a lot more intellectual potential than he shows. I think he doesn't study because he was punished at home when he did better than Dudley.

Madoka, Kyouko.

I wanted to smack her for a while. Thankfully I got to see the series all at once, because we got to see her motivations, which made me be able to understand her a bit more. Honestly, I wish she had been around more so we could see more development and I could get a better feel for her character. She's probably my least favorite of the magical girls.

Sayaka!

Mami. I have no idea why, but I think they would balance each other out well.

I don't know the fandom well enough to have a popular character. XD

Other than maybe some more screen time, nothing comes to mind...

For some reason, Kyoko has a very strong sense of god and faith in my head (though not necessarily a particular type). Maybe it's just how she talks in that final scene. *shrugs*

I'll ask this before anyone else can ... Suzaku?

[identity profile] bard-linn.livejournal.com 2011-08-15 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Just about nobody watches my journal anyway. XD

Suzaku was a hard character for me. First I wanted to beat him upside the head for most of R1. He's terribly naive, and drove me crazy. As we got to see more of him, however, I could understand (and relate) to him better.

Lelouch (duh), especially genderswitched. I also like him with Kallen and Nunnally. I can ship him with Euphie, but I prefer them to have Lelouch too. :3

Probably either Milly or Gino. Though I also love platonic Kallen+Suzaku

I don't think he loved Euphie. I think he loved the idea of her - what she represented.

I wanted to see more team-up-of-awesome. *shakes fist at time skip*

Suzaku is totally a Sumeragi in the clamp sense. And his magic comes out in his crazy physical abilities. (Also, in my head, he's sometimes a descendent of Sakura and Syaoran)

Ooh, ooh, romanticize Xellos for me. :p

[identity profile] bard-linn.livejournal.com 2011-08-15 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Xellos is a delightfully sneaky manipulative bastard. And I kind of love him for it.

If anyone, Lina.

....um, Xellas, maybe? >.>

Xellos and Filia NEVER SHOULD BE ROMANTICALLY INVOLVED. *is flamed by half the fandom*

More Xellos. Just you know, in general. I know he couldn't, but it would have been awesome to have him around earlier. Especially when Amelia is leading the chase for Lina and Gourry for being 'bad guys'...

I like to think that Xellos is fond of the gang, but only in the sense of a favorite toy. Kind of like Sei to Subaru, really...
