Just Because
Jul. 14th, 2011 05:28 pmGive me a character from Code Geass, a character from X/1999 (or Tokyo Babylon or Clamp Campus Detectives) and a topic. I'll give you a short drabble with them talking about whatever you pick.
No guarantee on how many of these I'll do, how long they'll be or anything - I just feel like playing.

Date: 2011-07-14 11:31 pm (UTC)"Wha - oh!" The figure focused on him, smiling warmly. "I'm sorry, no. I'm Kotori."
Japanese, Lelouch abruptly realized, grateful his time with the Black Knights had strengthened his abilities in the language. "Kotori - have you seen another girl? She looks a lot like you. My sister, Nunnally. She died...a few days ago."
Kotori hesitated for a moment, then shook her head. "No. I haven't." She smiled. "Maybe she didn't die?"
"But - " Lelouch trailed off, remembering the explosion that had devoured Tokyo. How could that be?
Kotori gently placed one hand on his cheek. "Don't give up. She may still be alive."
"Lelouch?"
Suzaku's voice jerked Lelouch's attention away from Kotori. When he glanced back, she was gone.
"Lelouch, come on - we're going to miss the boat!"
Lelouch stepped away, shaking his head. He must have been hallucinating from lack of sleep. Really, an angel? That wasn't his style. Yet somehow, some part of him couldn't help but hope she was right. Maybe Nunnally wasn't dead. Either way, he had to press forward. In order to make a peaceful world in her name. "I'm coming, Suzaku."

Date: 2011-07-14 11:50 pm (UTC)thank you, I think it turned out quite lovely)))
Though I don't think Lelouch would ever confuse Nunnally with everyone.
Or maybe he just wanted to see her so badly?

Date: 2011-07-14 11:54 pm (UTC)He had been in Japan when the quakes first started to ravage Tokyo. He had made his way to the capitol to see things for himself before he returned to meet with the UFN. Staring over the devastation from Tokyo Tower, he felt his heart break to see the city so ravaged; it had only really begun to recover from everything a little while ago. Not for the first time, he wished he had the strength and vigor of days long past. There was little he could do to help those trapped in the rubble. At least Zero could see to it that supplies were delivered, evacuations begun -
"Surprised, are you?"
Suzaku jerked, surprise on his face as he turned. That voice....a figure stood nearby, a teenager dressed in a long coat. He blinked several times, the boy's face swimming in his vision. He couldn't help but think of....Lelouch?!
"This place has changed a lot since you've seen it last. It will change more before it is over."
"Who are you?" Suzaku's entire body began to stiffen, a strange feeling coming over him. It took him a moment to realize what it was - his Geass, singing to life after years of silence. This boy was dangerous.
"That isn't important. I'm only here to grand your Wish." The teen gestured at the buildings across from him. "Some one you wish to see again."
Against his will, Suzaku felt himself look, catching sight of a group of young teens bounding from building to building with surprising ease. One slowed, his head turning to look over his shoulder, indigo eyes meeting Suzaku's.
"Lelouch?" Suzaku whispered. It couldn't be - the boy was Japanese and far too young, but there was something, something that insisted this was his friend from long ago.
"Kamui! Come on!"
The moment was broken. The teen turned back to follow his friend, crossing the city in a series of leaps and bounds that made Suzaku's head spin. And to think that Lelouch had said he was impossible! At least he had never gone that far. Glancing back, Suzaku noticed that his conversationalist had vanished. His Geass wasn't abating, however. He better get out of here. Something told him Tokyo wasn't safe any more.
I'm sorry if these are crappy. I'm just writing in the comment window and not really editing. ^^;;
Also - here Suzaku's wish is that he could see Lelouch again. Just in case that wasn't clear. XD

Re: another one - yup, that's what I do
Date: 2011-07-15 12:00 am (UTC)Lelouch was very shaken by Nunnally's death and, as Kamui says, people see what they want to see. Yup, he and Yuuko are my main sources of wisdom, what:p
I thought that Nunnally's hair was a bit darker, but it all varies from illustration to illustration. Nunnally and Kotori really have way too much in commonXD

Date: 2011-07-15 12:05 am (UTC)kung fu fightingbuilding-hopping.I love reincarnation stories. Too bad Kamui lost Lelouch's planning abilities along the way:p
Wasn't it a bit redundant, on not-Fuuma's part? I mean, Suzaku got to see Kamui/Lelouch regardless of not-Fuuma's presence? Or not?
Interesting crossover!
I admit I was hoping D!Kamui would "dissaprove" of early!Suzaku's suicidal tendencies and say somthing cryptic, like he always does. And maybe explain to Suzaku that dying isn't his real Wish. But that was my wishful thinking^_^

Date: 2011-07-15 12:07 am (UTC)Don't ever take Subaru's advice on life. Bad idea, Kamui, bad idea...

Date: 2011-07-15 12:08 am (UTC)Remember - D!Kamui is part of Kamui, and thus part of Lelouch's reincarnation. So he needed to see 'em both.
The reason Kamui is losing is he doesn't have his Suzaku. ;.;

Date: 2011-07-15 12:25 am (UTC)random drabble because I felt like it
Date: 2011-07-15 12:42 am (UTC)This time, however, Lelouch dreams of the strange place the witch took him to make their contract. He sees a black and crimson mask floating in front of him and simply knows it is his, it’s what he is. He also takes notice of colorful threads attached to his arms. There are a lot of them, but not as much as those practically strangling a winged boy in front of him. The boy’s mask is far more elaborate. Both of them are monochrome and sexless – two sketches drawn by some extremely bored being. It’s an irritating thought.
The boy has been talking for a while now, but Lelouch hasn’t heard a word of it.
“…you are happier, so much happier…” the boy almost sobs, making Lelouch wince at the desperation in his voice. “Or maybe luckier, I don’t know. I don’t know anything anyway.”
“Why would you say that?” Lelouch frowns. The boy seems familiar, but he can’t say from where. Not knowing is frustrating.
“You have him right there. You will never lose him, you can have him back. You only have to hold out your hand…” the boy keeps addressing Lelouch when talking to himself.
“It’s not that simple-” Lelouch feels it’s about Suzaku. But that boy has no idea what he’s talking about and who is he to tell Lelouch what to do?
The boy calls him an idiot and Lelouch wakes up.

Date: 2011-07-15 01:07 am (UTC)"Hmm," Seishirou mused to himself, observing the man's large frame. "Definitely choking."
He took care fo scatter an extra amount of petals.

Date: 2011-07-15 01:15 am (UTC)"Kirihara-sama, are you sure this is the only way?" he asked, already knowing the answer.
The old man nodded solemnly and took a sip of his tea.
Genbu looked at the paper talismans on his walls and decided that his mother in law didn't need to know.
What the hell, I'll play.
