Interesting how they're managing to deal with grief...although I have my suspicions that they've been mourning an incomplete (or failed) clone all this time. *g* Whatever is in those journals should be interesting indeed! I'll try from now on to not just lurk, as I know how important feedback is to an author...little enough to ask in return for a labor of love as well as blood, sweat and tears. I will admit to having absolutely devoured this thus far, the quality of it just drew me in completely to the point of racing from one chapter to the next. In that light, I'd like to offer a resounding WELL DONE for your monumental efforts in crafting such a satisfying tale!
