Only problem with playing FFVII with kiraya

Kiraya: That is interesting.

Bard Linn: And just think of all the - oh no -

Bard Linn: *sheepish* But - but it's so different from everything else...

Kiraya: NO MORE EPICS.

The next day

Bard Linn: You know that bunny from yesterday?

Kiraya: Hmm?

Bard Linn: I was ignoring it just fine until SPOILER!Zack showed up.

Kiraya: ...Oh really.

Bard Linn: Yeah, and then...BLAHBLAHBLAH

Kiraya: OOOOH.

Bard Linn: ...we did it again, didn't we.

forgottenlover and I have a Wutai ficset as well. >.> Only ours is when Sephiroth saves Cloud in Wutai. Cause Shinra had scientists over there, including Cloud's parents, and didn't get them out before the war started. So you have, like, a six year old Cloud who has latched onto Sephiroth and refuses to let go. Now I wanna see yours.

... You remind me of why I'm glad ladylore and I can't collaborate on fics. (Both she and I are too nit-picky about our word choice - we once took over an hour and a half to write a page of a Kenshin epic, after which we decided in the name of friendship to never try again.) Having someone around who encourages bunny growth is quite problematic.

Wow. o.O Yeah, that's pretty bad. I chuck the words on a page then Kiraya makes them all pretty so they don't suck. XD She has trouble getting anything done. I just hate editing!

Basic set up is Cloud is raised in Wutai because of SPOILER but is later sent off to the army due to a required service period of all non-Wutaian blood children who work in Wutai.

And he hates all things ShinRa.

Including SOLDIER.

And ESPECIALLY Sephiroth. >D

I'd get more done if I could get over that complex I have where I keep editing the most nitpicky, stupid little things over and over again as I write, but... old habits die hard. *sigh*

The reason we work well together is that you can stay focused on the big picture. I can't see the forest for the trees, sometimes. (Example: My obsessive-compulsive tweaking of the BE timeline yesterday. And the kanji thing, oi.)

Ah. I can imagine how that would work better than two people huddled together trying to agree on the correct adjective to describe someone's face. XDDD Yay, editing! ^_^

Dude - nothing wrong with excessive tweaking of timelines~!!! That's the only way you can be sure that you've got everything in the right order, and that when you refer to X it comes before Y and after T but not before Z and such and and...

Don't mind me. I'm grammar, spelling, and timeline compulsive, so I imagine we have similar issues. XDDD Besides, BE's been great so far!!! (Not that I'm up to date, mind you - I keep being too busy to read when it comes out and then forgetting the update's up, so I'm several chapters behind at this point, but... I doubt it's gone downhill in quality since last I read.) The nitpicks are what take a good story and make it a great one. So nitpick away!!!!
