I was super productive over the Thanksgiving break. I cleaned the living room, kitchen, room with computer desks (formerly known as the toyroom), my room, the upstairs bathroom, the hall, the stairs, bought sneakers, started exercising again, did four loads of laundry (and put them away!) dog sat, went to the grocery store, made lunches for the week, went to Church, made 5 videos for my one class and fixed two scenes in the final chapter of BE.
...however, you will sadly note that most of those are NOT fandom related. I had the house to myself for five days, and that's all I got done. Le sigh. musicshoes. Speaking of whom, sister dear - if you cut your hair, it is PERFECTLY acceptable to send your sister a picture if they're not going to see you for another MONTH. I can understand hanging it over your parent's head, but your oneesama? Really? :(]
kiraya came over for a bit. We began our reread of the X-manga. We have discovered that reading it on an Ipad is much more comfortable since you can use the couch as opposed to desk chairs. Also, I have made Kir realize that Ipads ARE awesome and wonderful. (It isn't actually mine to keep. I'm part of a trial at my school using it in education, but I intend to use it as much as possible while I've got it! >D)
I have obtained all of the Black Cat Manga used for under $75, which made me happy.
I'm reading Movies in 15 Minutes (figured you wouldn't mind,musicshoes) all the way through for the first time and am dying with laughter. I've read some of the online ones before, but some of these are classic. Though I'm intrigued why so many people think Matrix 2 and 3 are so inferior to the original movie, but I didn't think the first one was super special either (saw Tron, so the idea wasn't new to me).
In my housing situation, we got estimates done, but the seller offered less than half of the estimates, which is SO not happening. Tomorrow they're supposed to have a reply to my letter that said as much, so we'll see what they say.
I randomly got a call from my best friend in High school over break. Ironically, I had randomly decided to watch some old Gundam Wing (omg, Relena, you really WERE that annoying and somehow I think some of the fringe logic in this series would never fly anymore). It was really nice to talk to her.
I'm still watching Once Upon A Time, but I'm annoyed how the Evil Queen is getting to play second bad guy to Rumpelstiltskin. I get that they're trying to make them more 'human', but the fact the female bad guy just seems less evil than the male bad guy leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Also, Maleficent? BLONDE? WHAT?
