Things are going pretty well at school. I've been putting in a lot of time recently, which has really been wearing me out in some ways, but hey, the Superintendent totally knows who I am. And I'm helping with one of his goals for the district, so go me.
I started to exercise again, but then that got killed with More Meetings. I shall have to try to get on that. It's getting to be winter (SEE TWO INCHES OF SNOW OUT MY WINDOW THIS IS RIDICULOUS) and it's easy to put the pounds back on. I wanna get back in shape!
I saw more TV last weekend than I had in...a long time. First we caught 60 minutes, which was about ipads with Autism and Steve Job's biography. Listening to it, Jobs makes me think of Lelouch. In particular: he would say something was going to happen (you will code x amount by next month), people would tell him it was impossible...and yet it would some how happen. He also had this obsession with being special (something I think Lelouch has as a side affect of being born a prince, on a subconscious level) and was very charismatic. We also watched Once Upon A Time. I love retold fairy tales, so this looks very interesting to me. Mom and I are watching it together, which is nice. There were some spots where the acting was a bit stiff, but I'm hoping that will stop as they settle into the characters.
We ironed my halloween costume. I was going to be a blue-dressed queen, but the material is pretty thin. Since it's going to be relatively cold on Monday, I pulled out the 'elegant witch' costume I got at the same time (doesn't look like a witch at all) and added my purple cape. Perfect, and the cape makes it warmer. It'll be interesting to see what people come up with this year....the kids tend to be pretty inventive. (I think we had 48 out of the 50 states last year or something like that.)
I keep wanting to write, and practice with dragon naturally speaking so I can write FASTER, but the weather, house stuff, and school obligations (and the exhaustion that comes from all of these things) keep getting in the way. Hopefully not too much longer.
I'm reading/watching Black Cat right now. Someone said to me it was a lot like Cowboy Beebop with the bounty hunters, but I must say I'm enjoying this more. The main characters seem to be more...for lack of another term, good. I'm a sucker for the type who give up money to help out others, or just do the right thing.
