(no subject)

Holidays always bring out mixed emotions in me. On one hand I really like to give presents and such...on the other hand, a number of members of the family have moved on in their lives. My cousin is living in an apartment in Philly (possibly with her boyfriend - wasn't sure one way or the other) and has a good job at a jewelry repair shop. Her sister is graduating in December and has a job lined up that will move her to three different locations in the next three years. And I'm still at home, saving money so I can hopefully get a little place of my own...though that didn't look so well, based on the mortgage person I talked to. Or at least, it will have to be smaller than I hoped. :(

I have nesting feelings SO BADLY. I mean, I'm sighing over dishes. DISHES, people!

Also, I managed to whack my head quite severely on the truck door yesterday. I have a lump. It still hurts. Also, it really, really annoys me how when I hurt myself/get sick my mother glares at me. It isn't like I intended it, okay?

I found out from my cousins what they wanted for Christmas, and went out with Mom this morning after breakfast. I have more or less finished my shopping. Unless I see something else to buy kiraya

I'm also dog-sitting, which covered a good portion of what I bought today. Yay!

....yesterday I found a silver hair on my head. I'm only 25. o.O I am hoping that I didn't get the 'go gray early' gene that runs on my Dad's side of the family....
