musicshoes in her costume, and she won't be home until Sunday, so she and mom will be working on that. Subaru's jacket is a bit short in the sleeves, but I think I'll be okay if I just slide off my shoulders a bit. The color is awesome! I reread some of Tokyo Babylon and I'm falling back in love with the characters. Clamp's work is so visually amazing.
I am very pleased because I have lost some weight. I'm also exercising a lot, so I'm seeing some definition where I didn't before. The ironic thing here is that now my Skuld costume is a bit loose in the back, but I think we can fix that with a pin. Mom offered to alter it a bit, but we really a) don't have the time and b) I think we'd have to mess with the collar for it to look right. Not to mention it would probably mess up how the front falls.
Tomorrow,kiraya and I leave for VA - I am both very excited and very nervous. Excited for a week of fun, but nervous to be away from the parents that long; I've never done a vacation without them before, so this will be a new experience. Putting it all together is a lot of work, quite frankly. I'm going to need a vacation from prepping for vacation!
Can't wait for tomorrow to get here. *bounces*
Oh, andkiraya did get a new computer - I know some of you might have seen her last one died, but she hasn't mentioned the new one is up and running. With Windows 7, which is apparently 'very shiny'.
