Proposition 8 Passed.
Nov. 5th, 2008 05:11 pmWe still have a few votes being counted but at this point we may as well admit it did. Now, I'm not sure exactly how this is even POSSIBLE considering the ruling, but it is.
It's not going to last. And here's why. Look at the exit poll from CNN on the votes
Notice the ages? In another twenty, forty years - /we will be the majority/. People will understand what it means - and vote correctly. This is a terrible setback (and it REALLY depresses me) but it's not the end of the world.
I leave you with this motivational article I love and adore. "Scream, shout, jump up and down. No matter. The gay-marriage issue is over and done with. The upshot: love won."
