I am supervisor cursed. *headdesk*

Okay, for those of you who aren’t/haven’t been student teachers, when you’re student teaching you have people come in to observe you and give you feedback. We have two at my school: an education supervisor and a math supervisor.

I can’t seem to have smooth incidents with EITHER of them!

Math: I’ll come in on Feb. 14th.
Me: Okay. *preps lesson plans all shiny*
Feb 13th: HA. THAT’S WHAT YOU THINK. *SNOWSNOWSNOW*
School: *is canceled*
Me: …well now what.
Math person: Okay, well I’ll come next Thursday.
Me: Okay. *preps lesson plans all shiny AGAIN*
Math person night before at 9 pm via email: Changed my mind. Can I come tomorrow instead?
Me: NO NOT OKAY. *fumes* Ah, what the hell. *runs around like nut getting stuff together and such*
Observation: *goes well!*
Me: *sigh of relief*

Education: I’ll come Feb. 26th.
Me: Okay….crap that’s step functions.
Co-op: Let’s do absolute value instead!
Me: *preps lesson plans all shiny*
Feb 13th: HA. THAT’S WHAT YOU THINK. *SNOWICERAINSLUSH*
School: *has no delay, natch*
Education: I can’t get there in this awful weather. Can I come tomorrow?
Me: *sigh* Sure.
Me: *calls Co-op* We’re doing step functions today instead.
Co-op: Okay.
Lesson: *goes okay*
Co-op: I just heard that we’re having a fire drill tomorrow. During seventh period.
Me: *headdesk* Oh well. I’m not telling her. We’re not canceling for THAT.

Hopefully it won’t snow again next time. I swear all I have to do is get the “I’m coming to observe you!” email and all of the sudden snow is on the forecast…

List of things to do tonight:
-Email co-op test, quiz and review.
-Create chart for post second quiz.
-Print 3.5, 3.6
-Print Chapter 3 Algebra.
-Revise warm-ups for tomorrow.
-Draft 2.1, 2.2 sections of Geometry.

Two notes about the FF7 fandom…

I’ve gotten to be such a picky FF7 fic reader. XD I am very particular with what people take as “canon”. (Particularly those who haven’t played the game. At least go read a script! It’s the original canon!) And I’m much more particular about quality than just about ANY other fandom I can think of.

This leads to some interesting mental debates when I’m reading something because it all comes down to the CC issue – give CC or not? Most writers are like “yeah, I want it!” but when they get it they Aren’t Happy.

Secondly, BE hampers a lot of what I put on this journal. I think “gee, I should make a post about such and such”, realize it in some way relates to giving something away in BE, go “drat, not doing that”, then wander off.

Example? I got Roundabout started when I did because I wanted to use the same last name for Zack that we do in BE, but didn’t want it obvious who Cloud had gotten switched into…so I had to get it out before Zack showed up BE side.

Interesting how things interconnect. Or maybe I’m just a geek. XD
