*utter happiness*
Jun. 11th, 2005 08:36 pmOkay, some of you may have seen this. OMG, utter cuteness, yes? CBL adores them and so do I. *cuddles pics* So here's the thing: does anyone have
alchephiliac's email or messenger name? Because I really, REALLY want icons made out of those. Preferably a moving icon like the ipod one. ^^ S/he hasn't been answering all the comments so I want to contact directly to get permission. And then I suppose I'll have to beg
sky_dark to make it. (Sky-dono? If we can get permission, can I do a trade perhaps? I'll write a Hime-bribe if you want. ^_^)
In other news: My mom bought my sister and I the first My Little Pony session on DVD! *dances in joy* Its funny, but going through them I remember most of the episodes. (And I'll FINALLY get to see last episodes of the End of Flutter Vally multiparter.) Brings back memories. The thing that strikes me the most is how many morals are intertwined in the shows. I saw some of the cartoons on now a days a few weeks ago and wasn't impressed.
Also: Mother got first session of Joan of Arcadia. REALLY good show. Premise: 16 year old gets messages from God. Only God appears as random people at very random times, gives vague instructions and won't answer questions. Older brother is in a wheel chair due to a car accident, younger brother is a science "geek," dad is the chief of police and mother is working at Arcadia high school. It's very realistic in its set up. You have corruption and dealing with real life situations everywhere. But it also focuses on acceptance and building of character. GREAT show.
