Heh... I'm actually more surprised reading about these reactions than I am by the Zack/Seph, because somehow I'd always felt from way back that it was going to wind up slash eventually. It... kind of shows through? As does the platonic relationship between Cloud and Vincent. Then again, that may just be my inner Cloud/Seph/Zack shipper determinedly putting a spin on everything I read =P

I will admit though, the Cloud/Tifa thing at the end there kind of made me go "Eh?" for a moment there, precisely because I always had various permutations of pairings between Cloud, Seph and Zack in mind when I read this, and never even considered a possible Cloud/Tifa angle.
