Would just like to mention...

I have killing things with Aeris down to a SCIENCE. 10 hours, 40 minutes into the game and she has her first level 3 limit break...and Cloud's the only one other than her who has his second. Thus, she has killed more than Cloud. >D

Fire + All + killing wolfy things around Midgar for the WIN.

...and I really should probably move on with the plot one of these days and like get my first chocobo.

That's good, though, because you can only get her fourth level limit break while on disc one~!!! And yes, you probably should go get your first chocobo sooner or later. (I'll admit, Wutai was my fave leveling place because you have all your characters by then and the monster give great AP.) But YAY~! for playing the game. ^_^

[identity profile] bard-linn.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
And I want it this time around!

Actually, I want all of them this time around. *pout*

(Oooh, Wutai sounds like FUN then. Shall have to try it. )

It's pretty, it is~!!! I've spent waaaayyy too much time watching it lately because I got talked into making her staff for Katsucon and I needed to perfect the design. XDDDD

And Wutai is good. So long as you don't go there accidentally the first time. 'Cause when you get there accidentally, it's all... Shit, Yuffie, why'd you have to go play like that...? and such. XDD ^_^

[identity profile] bard-linn.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I actually want to do that. Cause I haven't done it yet.

[identity profile] kuromirai.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
lol. It's good to see you're playing the game. I've been stalking your fics for quite a while now though I haven't commented before. It's been a while since I got through FF7 so, have you gotten Vincent yet?
Well, the chocobo is important and so you're gonna have to get one at some point. ^___^

I think she's still just out of Midgar XD; playing around in the cliffs.

Damn cliffs.

Plz take both Aeris and Tifa when you get to Gongaga! :D

[identity profile] bard-linn.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup!

Maybe I will this time. Last time I had Cid and Cait Sith - I had managed to miss Gongaga and hit Nibelheim first - so Aeris was actually dead for that conversation. XD

[identity profile] elanor-pam.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
...then you missed gossiping Turks, too! :O OGNOES.

I didn't know it was possible to skip Gongaga, really. ._.

[identity profile] bard-linn.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, they DID gossip. Which was even funnier because they were talking about a dead person! XDDDD

I am very talented in the misdirectionness. ^^;;

[identity profile] elanor-pam.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
...that must have been bizarre. XDD; And the huge materia convo between Scarlet and Tseng? Considering Tseng would probably still be nursing his Masamune'd body, that would've been... weird? XDD;;

[identity profile] bard-linn.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Very. Entertaining, to say the least!

[identity profile] kuromirai.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
*nodds in absolute agreement* ^___^

[identity profile] kuromirai.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, cliffs. *involuntarily throttles video controls*
I had to blackmail my friend's brother to show me how to get through the thing. *sigh* I assume you had better luck?

[identity profile] bard-linn.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Replaying, actually. Did it once without a walk through, which made life a bit difficult! XD

*skipped Gongaga first time around and came back disk 3* ^^;;

[identity profile] kuromirai.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, that might be a little hard. ^___^
How do you skip Gongaga actually? I haven't played it in so long...*blush* My friend borrowed my disks and returned them after I lost interest in the game and became embedded in the mountain of Unread FanFiction cluttering my hard-drive.....I can't see my virtual carpet anymore...-_-

Missing Gongaga is quite easy to do - it mainly involves driving the buggy closer to the inner mountains than to Gongaga Forest so you don't see the destroyed reactor when you pass it by.

At least, that is how I missed it - spend a while trying to figure out what the hell the Ancient Forest was, and if that was Gongaga, and how to get up to it (I was following a walkthrough at the time, so I knew to look for Gongaga and drop in there for plot purposes and affection points purposes).

[identity profile] kuromirai.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
Ah I see. That could be my problem. I have a horrible horrible habit of driving all over the place - I suck at those racecar competition games, especially at the arcade. Thank you so much for the tip - I'll go see if I can revive my machines and try it out. ^____^

[identity profile] lochar.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. I managed to get everyone's level 2's and Aeris' level 3 limit breaks in the forest past the Mythril Mines.

Stupid Yuffie didn't show up for 45 minutes of running through those woods.

Junon Forest? The place with the Cappawires and Formulas? That's a good spot for early levelling.

I did prettymuch the same in my first play, hung around there until I had them all up to level 30, and the easiest way of distracting myself was tracking kill quotas while trying to get the limit breaks.
