Most amusing thing about Birthday so far:
Ann always insists on telling the waiters at my birthday dinner it is indeed, my birthday, so they can do their whole song and dance routine.
Well, I go to the bathroom, and apparently they came to do the song and dance routine while I was gone. XDDDD They came back later and did it though, which made HER happy.
(On a slightly related note, Mom's friends tried to give her a surprise birthday party for her 21st, and she missed it TWICE, because she was always out working and her shifts changed so much. They only got her there the third time by having on of her friends drag her home saying she had to "do homework" XD)

My family tried that for me once, as a surprise at some Chinese buffet, but the Chinese people couldn't remember how to pronouce "Christopher" so they came up to the table and not too subtly asked if it was pronounced with a "K" sound or "Ch" sound.
Spoiled the surprise a little, but it was still funny.
