The urge to panic is very strong at this moment.

Methods of teaching math was okay, but I foresee myself getting very bored, very quickly. Geometry was interesting as we learned some of the history of the subject, and yes, would you believe that there are multiple types of geometry? We also pulled numbers to do presentations on the type of geometry that you learn in HS. GUESS WHO GOT THE LAST ONE. Yeah, that sucks. Rachel P. is in both of those classes with me, which makes it fun. My methods teacher did the best double take when I said my name. We already have plans to switch seats half way through the course. >3

The sheer amount of work we’ll be having over all is scaring me. And the worst thing is I don’t even know what all of it is! Linn is this close to panicking. After this I’m planning out due dates and reading what I have to do for some of my assignments I can get done early. Jen, Jessie and I are planning to knock out the first video response this weekend. That’s three papers now. ICK. I’m a math major for a reason. Writing papers wasn’t one of them.

Must do anime club stuff on Monday. Must not forget!

“I can’t believe they let you leave the military, Spike,” Zack said as he glanced around the blond’s office. “I’d figure they’d make you a general and stick you with the paperwork.”

Cloud shrugged. “They did, for a while. But I’ve basically got a photographic memory. Once you understand the forms and such you only have to look for what’s different. My processing and comprehension speed is much higher too, so I started getting work done early. They let me start taking classes after I …expressed my boredom.”

“Boredom?” Sephiroth replied, shoving Zack back. “I thought you wanted to enter the military.”

“I did. But you of all people know how boring leading the army in peace time is – I rearranged your office, by the way. Hope you don’t mind – and idle hands do Diablos’ work so – ”

“Who?”

“Old summon who got destroyed. Looked a lot like images from the religion of the leader of what is traditionally called ‘evil.’”

“How exactly is a summon destroyed?” Sephiroth asked.

“How else? Shinra science department. But anyway, I started running some simulations. Eventually they decide I better find something else to do.” Cloud smirked. “I suspect it was kidnapping the president that did it.”

“….you kidnapped the president?”

“Twice.”

That AU sounds very interesting. And Cloud kidnapping the president made me snicker like mad. Probably because it brought to mind a chibi!AC-Cloud making a mad dash through the HQ's hallways, with chibi!AC-Rufus in a wheelchair. ^^

That's really interesting -- you like writing fanfic, but not papers; it seems like most of the ficwriters I've met have been English major types who like writing in most types but break out in hives at the approach of numbers. Fascinating, Captain...

Fanfic and papers are entirely different creatures, though I do approach them similarly. I love numbers. <3 Papers take me forever. I think I may actually try a friend's trick and disconnecting from the internet to make it easier for me to focus....

On a more coherent note, I absolutely adore your AAU snarky Cloud. He totally rocks my socks.

Well, amongst other things this Cloud is a professor of mathematics on the university level. Snark comes in handy! Good for dealing with Rufus too.
