I am SUCH a tease....
I am currently going through the computer and transferring a ton of stuff to disk. After that I’m backing up anything else and doing a system restore. See if that helps the computer stop acting so weird. *pokes it*
This means, with the addition of the list of things I have to do from Mom, that I will not be writing much until this is done (except for BE as that is on LJ. Update on Saturday, BTW).
But in the mean time, I leave you a teaser of something that is eventually coming…
Sephiroth peered at the piece of paper in Vincent’s hand. It looked ordinary enough to his eyes. The strange thing about it was that it had managed to appear within their camp site without anyone noticing it. Not easy to do, considering the number of clones in the vicinity.
“What does it say?” Zack asked, attempting to peer over Vincent’s shoulder and failing miserably.
“How much longer are you going to deny who you really are?” Vincent read aloud.
A hush fell over the company. “I don’t like the sound of that.”
“Neither do I,” Cloud put in, pushing Sephiroth as he took control. He reached out and took the note from Vincent’s hands, looking at it carefully. It can’t be. Riku?

More coherently, I am beyond excited now. I really can't wait to see more of this. It's just...wow. I especially like the line about Zeck trying to look over Vin's shoulder "and failing miserably." I love their relationship--or lack of one--I really, really do. ^__^ And I love how you managed to portay it even in this little teaser.
And actually seeing someone else's writing mention Cloud pushing Sephiroth "to take control" has put me on a serious high. Like WHOA.

I'll admit I had an image of Vincent holding the paper and Zack jumping up and down. "I wanna SEE! I WANNA SEEE!!" XD;;
