Eh, the thing is, Ed isn't even the character I connect the most with. That'd be Roy, with Riza a close second. I just have a high level of empathy for characters in general. >_>

I've read some things like that, but I have my limits.

(but seriously, like ask any friend who's watched an anime where a main character gets beat up with me, I will actually visably/audibly wince...)
