Well, the people who did the X anime ran out of manga to work off of after Rainbow Bridge, so divergence is understandable (although I hear they kept in touch with CLAMP in regards to plot development -- thus Arashi changing sides, as the dreamseers have indicated will happen in the manga too). Not only is the soundtrack for the X anime awesome, but Subaru manages to help Kamui out in the end in a way that makes my little shipper heart happy.

bard_linn is totally right about the movie, though. The best only good part is imagining how the S/S fans reacted to the fact that they killed each other off in the first 5 minutes, haha.

But still, compaired to CG, the X!fandom somewhat lacks in variety of fics:(
